Today we’ll continue our series looking at the postures as described by Salvatore Fabris, Ridolfo Capoferro, Nicoletto Giganti, and the anonymous author of the manual housed in Vienna.  Previously I discussed the primary postures Salvatore Fabris described in his books. I’ll now move on to talk about the four primary postures from Ridolfo Capoferro da Cagli’s Gran Simulacro dell'Arte e dell'Uso della Scherma (published in 1610), and I’ll talk a little about one of his secondary postures as well.
